Mission

The Battle of the Bluegrass late model tour is a Kentucky based

touring group organized to offer area racers an affordable

alternative to high cost traveling circuits. The 2002 season will be the

first year for our series and we will try to keep the focus to 10-14 races,

all having a uniform purse structure and rules.

The purpose of this series is to attempt to organize late model racing

in Kentucky and bring some well deserved competition to our very

competitive Kentucky racers.

The reward of this series will be a true Kentucky dirt track champion.

Racers choosing to follow our series will be rewarded with a point fund,

set up the initial year to reward no fewer than the top 10 in points.
